When someone you love dies, it can be a very difficult time. We can help you with arrangements for the funeral or memorial for the person who has gone on to the refreshment, light and peace of God’s heavenly kingdom. And afterwards, we have periodic support groups for those who would like to share with others how best to handle the sense of loss they are experiencing. Please contact Carolyn Wallace if you want to make funeral arrangements, participate in a support group, or if you can help us in this vital ministry.

Church and their neighbour on a voluntary basis in about 170 countries. The first meeting of the Legion of Mary took place in Myra House, Francis Street, Dublin, Ireland, on 7 September, 1921. This meeting was to have very beneficial consequences for the mission of the Catholic Church and, in a special way, for millions of members of Christ’s lay faithful who would serve in the Legion and for those who would be served by the legionary apostolate. Many persons outside the Catholic Church would also benefit from that apostolate. With the approval and support of the Popes and a great many Bishops, Priests and Religious, as well as the prayers and efforts of legionaries, the Legion, by the grace of God, has grown into a worldwide organisation with several million members.
Contact: Erin DillonOur Lady of Malibu participates in feeding those in transition under the coordination of a local Christian charitable organization, Standing on Stone (SOS), that provides spiritual guidance and intellectual discovery to those in need. Along with our sister churches and synagogue in Malibu, we each take turns once a month to prepare meals and serve all those who come. OLM participants meet first in Sheridan Hall to gather our foodstuffs and serving implements, and then shuttle to Malibu Presbyterian, where SOS holds its prayerful gathering. OLM Parish is responsible for the purchase and preparation of dinner for the first Thursday of each month. Parishioners are welcome to participate with bringing meals, set-up, serving, & clean-up. Service hours provided for students who wish to participate.

All human beings ought to value every person for his or her uniqueness as a creature of God, called to be a brother or sister of Christ by reason of the incarnation and the universal redemption. For us, the sacredness of human life is based on these premises.
"And it is on these same premises that there is based our celebration of life - all human life. This explains our efforts to defend human life against every influence or action that threatens or weakens it, as well as our endeavors to make every life more human in all its aspects. And so, we will stand up every time that human life is threatened."
