New Guidelines for Attending Mass

Liturgical Guidelines
- The OLM community will no longer be required to register for Mass.
- All of our Masses will take place in the sacred space of our beautiful church. There are:
- No capacity limitations
- No spacing restrictions (see next bullet point)
- For those who prefer caution upon return, we will have social distance space (3’) inside by the baptismal font and outside behind the choir, and outside the front doors.
- Masks are optional for those who are vaccinated and required for those who aren’t. We will not be verifying vaccinations upon entry.
- Hand sanitizer is available at the doors and upon request at Communion from the hospitality team.
- Communion will be in the form of bread. Reception on the hand is encouraged.
- Liturgical singing is permitted.
Dispensation from Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation has been liftedIn a letter to LA Catholics, Archbishop José H. Gomez announced that he would be lifting the dispensation to attend Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation on June 19, 2021. Funding Our Mexico Mission 2021
Our regular volunteer caravan to Tijuana has been temporarily suspended due to the pandemic. In lieu of the dozens of gift bags that are usually distributed, it has been suggested that we make cash donations for a substitute gift to Fr. Jesse's parish in La Morita. Outreach Ministry's "Move Hearts" Program
OLM’s role is to help families make the transition from TLC temporary housing to permanent housing. We start by getting to know the family through TLC zoom meetings, assessing their needs, (furniture, clothing, food & supplies) and acting as their “moving and settle-in” team.
