Becoming Catholic is a spiritual series of progressions and events that are marked and celebrated by completion of the three Rites of Initiation into the Catholic Christian faith. These three Sacraments are: Baptism, Communion and Confirmation. The progression includes education with emphasis placed on the faith formation process. Children are usually baptized into the Catholic faith, youths are confirmed in their Catholic faith, and adults new to the Church begin the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), which includes all three sacraments.
FOR CHILDREN: Children through education and faith formation progress to becoming Catholic. To learn more, visit Baptism, Communion and Confirmation.
FOR ADULTS: All are invited to the way, the truth, and the life that Jesus Christ offers. Are you ready to explore your faith? To learn more, visit Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. (RCIA)
